Kahana vs edX
Keep edX. Kahana is a free place to host work you already have and list it in the Library. The extra cost is the time to upload.
Use both
University and professional courses from schools.
Keep edX for the formal course. Use Kahana for notes, a club, and companion files around the same subject.
People who already use edX can link a Kahana hub from there. Listing does not require leaving edX.
