Kahana vs Medium
Keep Medium. Kahana is a free place to host work you already have and list it in the Library. The extra cost is the time to upload.
Use both
Essay platform and membership for writers and readers.
Publish essays on Medium if that is your writing home. Collect the series, extras, and paid pack as a Kahana hub so it lives as a library, not only a feed of posts.
People who already use Medium can link a Kahana hub from there. Listing does not require leaving Medium.
