Kahana vs Tumblr
Keep Tumblr. Kahana is a free place to host work you already have and list it in the Library. The extra cost is the time to upload.
Use both
Blogging and reblogs.
Keep Tumblr. Link a Kahana hub from a post when readers should open the full pack.
People who already use Tumblr can link a Kahana hub from there. Listing does not require leaving Tumblr.
