Browse Library

Library is Kahana’s public catalog. Search and filter hubs, authors, and clubs. It is discovery, not a social feed.

How discovery works

1. Search. Type what you need. Results sort by relevance when you search, or by popular when you browse.
2. Filter. Narrow by category, free or paid, price range, tags, and adult visibility.
3. Open. Open a card to land in the hub, an author’s profile, or a club.

Library tabs

• Library (default, no tab in the URL): public hubs listed in the catalog.
• For You (?tab=for-you): a personalized feed from your Aura, saves, follows, and taste marks. Details: For You and taste.
• Authors (?tab=authors): people who contribute. Open a profile to see their listed hubs. Older ?tab=creators links still work.
• Clubs: opens the Clubs directory. Create, join, and browse clubs: Clubs.

• Categories
• Free vs monetized
• Price range
• Custom tags
• Adult modes (hide by default)
• Sort: popular when browsing, relevance when searching

What gets listed

• A hub appears in Library when it is public, active, and listed, with the basics ready: title, cover, description, category, profile pic, adult yes/no, and public access.
• Unlisted public hubs stay link-only. They do not show in Library search and stay out of SEO indexing.
• Listing helps people find you. It is not a ranking promise or guaranteed traffic.

Guests and adult content

• Guests can browse most public, non-adult listings in Library.
• Adult hubs can be listed, but they stay hidden by default. You need the adult filter, login, and age verification to see them.

Phones

On small phones, full Library browse may be unavailable for now (Home and Search stay available). Desktop and larger screens keep the full Library grid. This is a temporary performance limit, not a plan restriction.
