How to Set Up Kahana in an Afternoon

You already have YouTube, Discord, Drive, or a reading app. This is the shortest path to putting a Kahana hub or club beside them without ripping anything out.

Kahana is the library in your stack. Keep the tools you already love. This guide is the shortest path to a working hub, a club if you need one, and a listing when you are ready.

Decide the job first

Do not start by copying every file you own. Pick one job. Kahana use cases include book clubs, selling a digital pack, ebooks, workshops, playbooks, journals, and course-like hubs.

Create a hub and keep it private

A hub starts private. That is the point. Add the pack before anyone else sees it: PDFs, video, notes, links, templates. Invite an editor if you work with someone. Step-by-step lives in Get started for creators and Hubs.

Put Kahana next to tools you already use

Do not migrate your whole audience on day one. Pin a hub or club link where people already are.

Video lives on YouTube. The hub holds the PDF, notes, and club.
Chat lives on Discord or Slack. Kahana is the shelf.
Email stays on Substack or Kit. Link the issue to the hub.

List it when the cover is ready

Optimize after the first week

Watch views, saves, and purchasers. Low views usually means discovery. High views and few buyers usually means the offer. Creators use Analytics. Learners use the Learning tab, Cognition streak, and reminder emails.

Then read a guide that matches the job: resource libraries, selling a PDF, book clubs, or workshops.
